School Rule

Regularity and Punctuality

Students are required to be punctual to school. School gates will be closed at 7:30 a.m. in summers and 8:00 a.m. in winters or as per the summer/ winter notifications. No child will be granted entry after the closure of the school gates. Students must be regular to school. Parents must ensure that their child attends the school regularly. Irregularity will not be condoned. Whenever a student is absent he/she may sit in class only after submitting a leave application duly signed by the parents. Absence for more than a week without information will result in the deletion of the students name from the school rolls. In such a case, the student will be permitted to attend school only after paying readmission charges.

School Diary

  1. The Student's Profile Form given in the school diary should be filled correctly and promptly.
  2. Any change in the address or telephone number must be informed immediately to the fee office.
  3. Children must bring the diary to school every day, which can be used by parents as well as teachers to convey any information.
  4. Parents must check the diary everyday for notice as reminder will not be sent. The same should be acknowledged by the parents by affixing their signatures.
  5. Please go through the Circulars (in the diary) to see if any important information has been sent and affix your signature to acknowledge its receipt.
  6. Kindly maintain a record at home of homework sheets, syllabus, and other circulars issued by the school.

Uniform

  1. All students should come to school in neat, clean, and prescribed uniform. Students wearing untidy and improper uniform will be checked and penalised. Hair must be well groomed and cut to give a neat appearance.
  2. Proper footwear in both summer and winter is black shoes. No shoes of any other colour or kind nor slippers or other form of shoes are permissible. Canvas shoes are to be worn on Wednesdays and Saturdays or for games/ PT only.
  3. Girls are not permitted to wear bangles, fancy clips and jewellery items to school. They should not apply nail-polish or henna. Only white hair bands and rubber bands are to be used.
  4. Children should wear proper undergarments to school.

  5. Wearing of school uniform is a must even when going out for picnics, excursions, etc.

  6. The child should bring a towel napkin and a handkerchief daily to school. The child's name, class/section should be written on the school bag, tiffin-box, towel napkin and water-bottle
  7. Please wash, iron and send back the garments belonging to the school whenever they are used and sent home.
  8. Do not send your child wearing expensive gold/silver jewels to school. School will not be responsible for any losses.
  9. Mothers are requested to keep the hair of their wards clean of lice and nits. Nails should be clean and well - trimmed.

Leave

  1. No leave will be granted during test/examination days. Children who miss tests/ exams will be awarded zero in the missed test/ examination. In case of genuine illness, medical leave will be granted only when the child has been shown to the Principal/Vice Principal/Head Mistress along with authentic medical certificates.
  2. No 'half days' will be granted. Parents must not send the child to school at all if they know that the child will not be able to attend the full school due to any reason.
  3. If any emergency arises at home during school hours a child will be permitted to leave school only with the parents/guardians. No unauthorized friend or relative will be permitted to collect the child on their behalf. In such cases, parents/guardians will be allowed to take their ward only after they produce either Gate Pass or their wards Bill Book to authenticate their identity.
  4. It is compulsory for students to complete 75% attendance in the session to make them eligible for final assessments. In case the attendance falls short, the student will not be eligible for promotion.

Conveyance

  1. The school transport facility will be available depending on the number of students from any particular area. In case the school transport is not available, the parents will have to make their own arrangements.

  2. The school transportation fee is payable in advance.

  3. The students should reach the respective bus stop ten minutes earlier than the stipulated time.
  4. Parents must ensure that only the authorized person should reach the bus stop at the specified time to collect the child or else the child will be brought back to school. Any changes to this effect must be intimated to the school authorities in advance
  5. Children who use school bus in morning are required to go back by the bus too. The school will not be responsible for any student who mingles with the other conveyance students and leaves school using some other means of transport. If a student has to return home by some other means he/she must submit a written application to the school office to this effect.
  6. Parents of the students who avail bus facility will not be allowed to take their ward home without prior information to the Class Teacher/Transport-in-Charge.
  7. In case of any change in the place of boarding, one month's notice should be given.
  8. All those who desire to discontinue the bus service must give a one month written notice. However after December of each academic session withdrawals will be permitted only when the bus fee is paid up to March i.e., end of the session.

  9. Student(s) will be held responsible for any damage to bus caused by her/his/their negligence and will be charged a fine accordingly.
  10. Children who go by their own conveyance must be collected promptly from the school after it gets over. The school will not be responsible for children after school hours.
  11. Students should refrain from taking any part of their body (head/ arms/ hands) out of the windows for their own safety.

  12. Students should not throw any paper, fruit peels, or any other article out of the moving bus.

  13. Any student found guilty of damaging the bus or indulging in rowdy or undisciplined behavior in the bus will not be permitted to continue the school bus service.
